Cultural institutions & Well-being
A current theme
From June 22 to July 22, 2023, we launched the Cultural Institutions & Well-Being campaign, in collaboration with 28 cultural institutions. Why this theme? Because at GuestViews, we're convinced that cultural sites are a source of well-being (and we're not the only ones)!
1️⃣ The results of our previous #backtomorrow consultation, launched in April 2020 during the first confinement, pointed in this direction: almost 20% of respondents said they took advantage of cultural resources, made available online by a great many institutions, to keep their spirits up.
2️⃣ Many players in the cultural sector have told us of their interest in this subject, which was also the theme of ICOM's International Museum Day 2023. In May 2023, the "Museum and well-being in a perspective of Diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion" conference, initiated by the CLIC, confirmed our desire to tackle this subject via our T.I.M. project.
3️⃣ It's also a theme that has been tackled across the Atlantic by the American Alliance of Museums in a "Museums and Wellbeing" consultation, the results of which were revealed in November 2022: discover them here!
